Education at school is the responsibility
of teachers; they make the best use of their teaching skills to educate
children. It is also their responsibility to motivate children towards studies
by guiding them properly. There is no doubt about it that education is the key
to success and teachers should make students realize that without education,
there is no successful future for them. Whatever their dreams are, whoever they
want to become, it is all useless if a child remains illiterate.
A student at school is
free to ask questions and their questions shall be answered, he can ask for
guidance if he faces any difficulty at classwork or any project etc. But what
about doing work at home? From where should a student get assistance for his
project or work? Such questions create confusion in young brains, which can
easily become demotivated if his questions remain unanswered. Every student
shall be guided to tackle such helpless situation before getting trapped into
it.
Studying at home is
different from studying at school; a student might not understand the
instructions to complete his work at home so he may seek homework help. But what should he do to get his work done? There
are simple steps to be followed.
A student should
understand every detail of the work which is being assigned to him for home,
any question regarding the task should be asked there at school because home is
the place where a student is supposed to complete the work without any
assistance of his teachers.
If the work is different
from the coursework, which is not included in the textbooks, then the student
should collect relevant books from the school library.
Make sure to return home
with all such relevant stuff which would be helpful during the task. The internet
is also useful for collecting detailed information about the work, elder
siblings and parents can also guide students properly, but it is advised to complete
work without getting any assistance from elders until it becomes very
necessary.
The students who always
depend upon the assistance of their elders can never complete their task on
their own. They should try to use every resource available to them e.g. public
library, internet, textbooks and other sources of information. A teacher knows
who has done the work by himself without any support of an elder and he always
appreciates the original work completely done by a student.
